The writings/articles/scribbles are my collection of what is stumbled or read somewhere on the net (I try to give credit where it is due). Most of the time I forgot where I read something, hopefully this will compile all those in one site and along the way we hope not to compromise or infringe any law.

Hagia Sofia, Istanbul
The last of three church buildings was completed in 537 AD. The site was an Eastern Orthodox church from 360 AD to 1204, when it was converted to a Catholic church following the Fourth Crusade. It was reclaimed in 1261 and remained Eastern Orthodox until the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople in 1453. It served as a mosque until 1935, when it became a museum. In 2020, the site once again became a mosque.
